Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a skilled Forklift Engineer to join their field service team in the Basingstoke region. The role covers servicing, diagnostics and repairs on forklift and material-handling equipment at customer sites, with travel time paid and a clear path for technical development.

Ideal candidates have proven hydraulics experience, mechanical and electrical fault finding skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

Experience in forklift, plant or material-handling industry is essential.
Strong hydraulics knowledge.
Mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience servicing, repairs and diagnostics on forklifts and plant machinery.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults and service, repair and carry out emergency breakdown work on forklifts and plant machinery.
Perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics.
Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Attend customer sites and provide professional technical support.
Work independently while maintaining communication with customers and colleagues.
Identify faults and develop solutions to minimise downtime.
Complete service reports and job records accurately.
Build strong relationships with customers and deliver high-quality service.
