Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a Basildon-based specialist recruit a Field Service Engineer (Ex-Forces) to join a field-based reactive mechanical maintenance role across a UK patch.

You will receive a salary of £30,000–£36,000 with OTE £45,000, overtime, a company van and fuel card. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with a clear route to progression within a market-leading company.

Qualifications

• Experience in reactive maintenance and repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.

Field Service Engineer (Ex-Forces)

Are you a Field Service Engineer from an ex-forces background or similar, looking for a field-based reactive mechanical maintenance role?

Do you want to join a company that offers full specialist onboarding, and the opportunity to earn more with overtime and door to door pay?

On offer is the chance to join a market leader in their industry for over 20 years, specialising in reactive maintenance of fuel pumps. You will be working a primarily regional patch with the potential to work UK wide. You will undergo a specialist training program to introduce you to the industry, followed by specialist support from the senior engineers.

In this varied role, perform both preventative but predominately reactive maintenance across the UK. This position offers the option to increase your wages through overtime. You will be home based working Monday to Friday 8:30-5pm, covering 1 in 3 weekends 8:30-5pm Saturday and on-call Sundays at double-time.

This role would suit a Field Service Engineer from a mechanical background or similar, with experience in reactive maintenance and repair looking, for a company who invest in training and offer clear routes to progress your career.
