Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) in Swindon. You will install, service and repair automated gates and security equipment across client sites, starting with four weeks of in-house training and shadowing experienced engineers.

The role is home-based with 40 hours per week, door-to-door pay, enhanced overtime and a company car with a fuel card. A full UK driving licence is essential, and benefits are included as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, fault-find and repair automated gates and security equipment.
• Four weeks in-house training followed by shadowing on specialist machinery and control panels.
• Home-based field service role with travel to customer sites, 40 hours per week, door-to-door pay and enhanced overtime.
