Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Automated Gates / Barriers) in the Liverpool area. The role is field-based with a company van, training, progression and occasional UK travel, offering £40,000–£48,000 per year plus fuel card and perks.

The ideal candidate will service and maintain security systems, troubleshoot, and travel to client sites around the UK, while communicating effectively with customers and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a security system service and maintenance role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of security systems including gates, fences and bollards.
• Troubleshooting and system configuration, routine maintenance.
• Travel to client sites around the UK.
• Provide training to clients on system usage once operational.
• Adhere to safety regulations and industry standards.
