Job summary

Scot JCB Group is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join its Carnforth team. You will travel to customer sites across the area to maintain, repair, and service machinery to high standards. A varied role that develops engineering skills while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as City and Guilds / NVQ / SVQ in Construction Plant or HGV (essential).
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrics, and fault finding using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining machines at customer sites to manufacturer specs.
• Attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults on machinery.
• Completing paperwork daily and submitting timesheets.
• Ordering parts in coordination with the parts department.
• Collaborating with the service supervisor and mentoring apprentices.
