Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, invites a Field Service Engineer to join the UK team. You will install, service and maintain immunoassay, chemistry and haematology analysers across hospitals and labs, travelling to customer sites in the Northumbria region.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and support on-call rotations, while building product knowledge and ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in a laboratory setting servicing diagnostic instrumentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Relevant degree such as BSc/HND/HNC in Biomedical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, repair, perform preventive maintenance, install and decommission diagnostic equipment.
• Represent Beckman Coulter on-site, delivering professional customer service and ensuring safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with customers to maximise instrument usage and expand product knowledge.
• Work across NHS and private labs in the Northumbria area.
