Job summary

AFS Limited require a Compressed Air Service Engineer, with a mechanical or electrical bias, to join a growing service team operating from the Trafford Park office in Manchester. This field-based role involves diagnosing faults, installations, and preventative maintenance across the UK.

The successful candidate will have experience in compressed air systems, strong interpersonal skills and a practical, can-do attitude, plus a current UK driving licence. Training and company benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and IT skills.
• Desire to provide high workmanship quality.
• Willingness to travel UK with overnight stays as required.
• Current UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Experience in a field-based service role is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment.
• Pipework installations.
• Planned and preventative maintenance on compressors, dryers and ancillary equipment.
• Emergency breakdown fault finding and repair.
• Install and commission compressors and air systems.
• Recommend additional works to benefit customers and company.
• Maintain good relations with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain company vehicle and PPE as per guidelines.
