Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a specialist security provider. The role covers installation and maintenance of CCTV and alarm systems on active construction sites, with a curriculum including a 1-2 month structured training period and a flexible, self-managed schedule across multiple sites in the Midlands and South West / South East of England.

You will start with hands-on training alongside an experienced engineer before taking ownership of

Qualifications

Hands-on field engineering: alarms, CCTV, networking, cabling, antennas or similar installations.
Direct customer or client-facing work.
Familiarity with construction site environments.
CSCS or ECS card — preferred but not essential.
CCTV experience (HIK Vision ideally).

Responsibilities

Install monitored alarm and IP CCTV systems on active construction sites.
Monthly servicing visits to maintain, re-plan and update systems as sites evolve.
Liaise with construction site managers; be the face of FM Security on site.
Self-manage a fixed schedule across Midlands and South West / South East of England.
Occasional overnight stays for distant sites.
Work outdoors; some work at height.
