Field Service Engineer - Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilers

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Industry Sector: Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, House builders, Local Authorities, Social Construction, Commercial Construction, Servicing Engineer, Boilers, Commercial Gas Boiler, Biomass Boiler, Field Technician, Technician, Field Engineer, Technical Engineer, Biomass Engineer

Area to be covered: South

Remuneration: £35,000 - £45,000 + 1.5x overtime (£10,000 - £20,000 per year extra earnings)

Role Responsibilities

1. Servicing, testing, inspection, repairs, and installation of Biomass & Commercial Gas Boilers.
2. Working on-site in a field-based role.
3. Dealing with main contractors and plumbing & heating contractors.
4. Managing van stock, safety equipment, and training.
5. Providing cover outside geographical regions when needed.
6. Working independently to complete jobs efficiently.
7. Delivering excellent customer service on-site.

Candidate Requirements

1. Minimum experience in installing, servicing, and repairing biomass boilers.
2. Industrial boiler experience is preferred.
3. Technically proficient.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Motivated, flexible, and with a strong work ethic.
6. Full UK driving license.
