Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrically Biased Field Service Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install overhead cranes and hoisting equipment across customer sites in the UK. You will perform electrical fault finding and preventive maintenance, support crane installations, and undertake repairs to keep customers operational.

With a company vehicle and training opportunities, the role offers overtime and long-term career progression within a well-established engineering

Competenze

• NVQ/City & Guilds/BTEC/HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong three-phase electrical knowledge.
• Experience fault-finding and repairing industrial electrical systems.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to work at height.
• 18th Edition qualification or willingness to obtain it.

Mansioni

• Servicing, inspecting and maintaining overhead cranes and hoists.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Installing lifting equipment and assisting with commissioning activities.

We're seeking an Electrically Biased Field Service Engineer to join a growing team responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing overhead cranes and hoisting equipment across customer sites.

Every day is different. One day you'll be carrying out electrical fault finding and preventative maintenance, the next you'll be supporting a crane installation or carrying out repairs that keep customers operational.

With a fully equipped company vehicle, excellent training opportunities and overtime available, you'll have everything you need to succeed.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Servicing, inspecting and maintaining overhead cranes and hoists
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical and mechanical faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections
• Installing lifting equipment and assisting with commissioning activities
• Providing high levels of customer service whilst on site
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
• Travelling to customer sites throughout the region

What We're Looking For

You may currently be working as a:

• Crane Engineer
• Electrical Maintenance Engineer
• Field Service Engineer
• Industrial Electrician
• Hoist Engineer
• Service Technician
• Lifting Equipment Engineer

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

• NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong three-phase electrical knowledge
• Experience fault-finding and repairing industrial electrical systems

• The ability and willingness to work at height
