After an initial period of on the job training as Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned breakdown repair service to the customer based throughout the Birmingham, Worcestershire, Staffordshire and local surrounding region and will be part of a weekly rotating shift pattern consisting of 8am 5pm and 11am 8pm as well as an on-call rota consisting of 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend in every 4.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will ideally be qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or a related subject; be comfortable using mechanical hand tools and ideally have some experience of servicing, repairing or maintaining mechanical equipment, machinery, vehicles or plant.

A basic understanding of hydraulics and fault finding on 12 & 24-volt electrics an advantage.
