Linde is seeking a Workshop / Site / Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the Bristol BS postcode area. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and service a range of Linde material handling equipment at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have experience as vehicle/industrial technicians, NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), IT literacy, and a full UK driving licence. Excellent team support and on-site training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/electrical hydraulics related to forklifts or similar equipment.
• IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep records.

Responsibilities

• Find, diagnose and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Undertake preventive maintenance and service on equipment in the Bristol BS postcode area.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers and internal teams.

We are currently looking for a Workshop /Site/ Field Service Engineer to join our team in the Bristol area.

The geographical patch to be covered is the BS postcode area.

We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you!

Working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Mechanical engineering
• Electrical engineering
• Hydraulics

Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.

You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.

You must hold a full UK driving licence.
