Job summary

White-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands region. You will install, service and repair X-ray scanning equipment at customer sites, diagnosing faults and performing preventive maintenance to ensure high levels of customer support.

The role requires proven field service experience with X-ray equipment, strong fault-finding skills across electrical, electronic and mechanical domains, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing X-ray scanning equipment is essential.
• Strong electrical, electronic and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled or capital equipment would be advantageous.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair X-ray scanning equipment.

Our client is a leading supplier of X-ray scanning and inspection equipment, providing installation, servicing and technical support to customers across the security, industrial and manufacturing sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands region.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and repair of X-ray scanning equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out preventative maintenance and ensure customers receive a first-class level of technical support.
