Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support UPS and critical power systems across London, the South East and Oxford. The role focuses on customer relationships, equipment service, and technical problem solving.

You will service, repair and commission UPS equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in an on-call rota. A valid UK driving licence and electrical engineering experience are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical discipline is essential.
• Previous UPS or critical power experience essential.
• Strong electrical or electronic engineering experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to cover London, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton, Oxford and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and commission UPS and power protection equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete battery replacements and electrical fault-finding.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Complete service reports and associated documentation.
• Participate in the on-call rota.

• Salary: Circa £45,000 + Bonus
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Package:

• Circa £45,000 basic salary
• Annual bonus of approximately £2,250
• Around £2,000 per year for participating in the on-call rota (1 week in 6)
• Company car, typically a BMW 3 Series or similar
