End-of-Line Machinery - West and South Yorkshire

Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield, Barnsley, Bradford, Leeds, Calderdale, Doncaster, Kirklees

£36,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary (D.O.E)+ Company Vehicle + Bonus + Daily Lunch Allowance + Enhanced Comp. Pension + Overtime

The Role Of The Field Service Engineer

  • You will be based from home, repairing and installing a range of end-of-line machinery.
  • Equipment used within various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution, amongst others.
  • Visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients.
  • Conducting installations, commissioning and responding to breakdown calls.
  • Fault find, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Accurate report writing for customer and internal use.
  • The role is 50% mechanical, 50% electrical, so will suit a multiskilled engineer.
  • A Mon - Fri role with overtime available.

The Candidate For The Field Service Engineer

  • Hold a formal engineering qualification such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, apprenticeship or an electrical qualification.
  • You'll have previous field service experience or have been an engineer within the armed forces.
  • Multiskilled background.
  • Basic understanding of PLC fault finding (training can be provided).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good administrative and accurate reporting.
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Willingness to stay out as required.

The Package For The Field Service Engineer

  • £36,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience.
  • Company bonus + daily lunch allowance + company credit card.
  • Weekend overtime available.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Enhanced Company Pension, Mobile, Tablet.
  • Death in Service (4x Salary).
  • Specialist tools, uniform, PPE provided.
  • Ongoing manufacturers training.
