Field Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)

Plymouth Territory

8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

A£31,000 - A£36,000 Starting Salary

Role Overview: Field Service Engineer role available in a market leader of forklift trucks. The role will suit those looking for a field-based position, with lots of training, overtime if desired, and progression routes. You will also enjoy a healthy work-life balance.

The company has a comprehensive training plan in place to fully support the engineers in the field. Those with experience on cars, HGV's, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar will be very suited to the role. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally having engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
3. Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
4. Spares placed in van overnight
