Job summary

Pioneer-Selection-Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and related MHE across customer sites within the Oxford area. The role offers 40 or 45 hour weeks, with overtime and door-to-door pay.

You will perform fault finding, diagnostics, and planned maintenance with autonomy to manage your workload, supported by a technical back-office team and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial Vehicles.
• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Desirable: Previous Field Service Engineer experience.
• Minimum Level 3 Qualification in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE across customer sites in your local area.
• Fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Organise your own workload and diary with support from a back‑office team.

Salary:£32,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift:Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role:

I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Must have hands on Servicing or Maintenance Experience

Essential requirements of Field Service Engineer:

• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGV's or industrial Vehicles.
• Have hands-on experience in the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification.
• Full UK Driving License
