The Field Service Engineer is responsible for managing and performing the scheduled maintenance, repairs and commissioning, also for generating leads to grow the business and for giving the best service experience to our customers. The position will be located in the UK, in the region of North Midlands and Northampton.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

• Installing and qualification of Laetus products in our customers' production facilities including customer training.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance work on Laetus products.
• Supporting our sales team by identifying and communicating after-sales contacts at the customer's site.
• Completing service reports.
• Customer support: remote support for our customers. Assistance with troubleshooting via telephone and email and remote connection to customer system.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• ONC level or comparable qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering or 5+ years of engineering / field service experience with direct customer focus solving complex assignments.
• Profound knowledge in the area of electrical and/or control engineering.
• Proficient knowledge in handling PC based systems as well as in network.
• Proficient mechanical aptitude and in internal processes and procedures.
• Knowledge in packaging machinery (pharma industry or vision systems).
• Availability to travel 5 days a week.
• Valid British passport and driving license.
