The company manufactures forklift trucks. As part of a team, you will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on forklifts and related equipment in Leicester. No overnight stays or extensive travel are required. Overtime is available mainly during the week if desired.

The Field Service Engineer Role In Brief

• Carry out PPM and breakdown repairs on materials handling machinery on a field service basis
• Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the designated geographical area
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent with all machinery and equipment
• Spares are placed in the van overnight

The Person Required

• Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment; automotive technicians/motor trade backgrounds are also suitable
• Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
• Ideally, hold a Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
