Job summary

Linde Material Handling is seeking Field Service Engineers to join our team in the Wellingborough/Norwich (NR) area. You will diagnose faults, service forklifts at customer sites and perform preventative maintenance across our full product range.

The role requires a full UK driving license, forklift experience, and the ability to work autonomously as well as within a team. Training and long-term development are available.

Qualifications

• Ideally NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, not essential.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
• Experience as forklift technician, plant fitter/technician or similar role.
• Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment or agricultural machinery is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and rectify faults on forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service Linde equipment at customer sites.
• Engage with a broad product range from small pallet trucks to VNA and automated trucks.

Do you have experience in one for the following disciplines, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Hydraulics? Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential. We use the latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders, therefore being comfortable using IT equipment is essential. You will need to hold a full UK driving license (Field and Resident Engineers only). As a Linde engineer you will need to be comfortable working autonomously and within a team., We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience working as a forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, vehicle technician or a similar type of role. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may make this role perfect for you! In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, working with our full range of products, from small pallet trucks to Counterbalance trucks, Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks, and automated trucks. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and rectifying faults, performing preventative maintenance, and servicing Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.
