Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join our client based in Harlow. Representing premier brands such as Case Construction, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack, delivering customers requirements for all their Earthmoving and Recycling needs.

Duties:

1. Travelling to and working at customer sites servicing and resolving problems on heavy plant.
2. Liaising with service team and technical support to solve problems, order parts.
3. Completion and submissions of reports and hours.

Knowledge:

Extensive knowledge on a variety of heavy plant including:

• Wheeled Loaders
• Excavators
• Track Loaders
• Shredders
• Screens
• Waste Handlers

Knowledge of the following brands would be advantageous:

• Case Construction Equipment
• Terex Ecotec
• Keestrack

Competency & Understanding:

• Competent with reading/understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Understanding of in engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPF
• Good understanding of electrical circuits
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills
• Good IT skills
• Good literacy skills
• Good communications skills

Qualifications:

• Driving License
• Apprentice NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or similar
• Quarry passport
• Passport to safety
• Air conditioning

The Person:

• Must be comfortable working as part of a team and on own initiative
• Must be flexible with working hours when required (possible late nights or weekend work).

• Basic Working Hours - 08:00 - 16:30 / 40 hours per week
