Job Description

Are you looking to build/continue your career in Engineering?

Right Now Group are currently partnered with a leader who are recruiting within their Field Service Engineering team in the Bristol region after a continued period of sustained growth.

If you consider yourself to be suitable for a Field Service role with an Electrical Engineering focus and are open to travel then this could be the ideal role for you. Full training will be provided!

Ideal Experience:

1. Basic Electrical skills relevant qualification i.e. City & Guilds - NVQ or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in working with multimeters and knowledge of electrical circuits.

IMPORTANT: Full Training will be provided as well as a company Van - please note all applicants must have a full drivers license due to the nature of this role.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Weekly Hours: 8:00 - 16:00 (1 in 4 weekends required)

1. Saturday's to be paid at time and a half
2. Sundays to be paid at double time

Salary: £30k-£32k

Role Type: Full - Time Permanent

Job Details:

1. Investigate technical issues and resolve along with realizing opportunities appropriate to the business needs of the specific customer.
2. Install, maintain and survey high end appliances B2B.
3. Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.
4. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
5. Provide assistance for internal and external customers.
6. Be able to manage tight deadlines for physical and administrative aspects of the role.
7. Service levels to customer lead-times and KPIs.

Desirable skills:

1. Basic Electrical experience, using multimeters and working with electrical circuits.
2. Electrical qualifications, NVQ's or equivalent.
3. Previous Field Service or Engineer experience.
4. Experience as an Electrical Apprentice or equivalent.
5. Experience in working out on the road from a van or car.
6. Good people/customer service skills.
7. Flexible approach to working hours and days.
8. Have good problem-solving acumen.
9. Willingness to listen and learn.
