Job summary

Infinity Recruitment Consultancy Limited is supporting a client recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the West Midlands. The role involves service, repair and maintenance of a wide range of equipment, with a full-time, permanent contract and 40 hours per week, plus occasional 45 hours and out-of-hours rota.

You will have strong customer service skills, an engineering qualification or apprenticeship, a full UK driving licence, and be based in the West Midlands.

• Demonstrable customer service experience in similar field.
• Apprenticeship or qualification in engineering, or proven experience.
• Willingness to work in West Midlands and drive.
• Live within West Midlands area.

Job description

We are pleased to be working with our established client, who are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover the West Midlands area, carrying out service, repair and maintenance work on a wide range of equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week, with some flexibility and an expectation to be available for up to 45 hours per week when required.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be expected to carry and complete warranty work, general repair, service and maintenance work on a wide range of equipment. You will complete all relevant paperwork/administration and actively promote product/parts and services to existing customers. You will be part of an out of hours call out rota.

To be considered for this Field Service Engineer position you will be able to demonstrate exemplary customer service and have a demonstrative experience from a similar role working in the Automotive, Material Handling, LGV Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or Heavy Plant engineering industries. You will ideally have completed an apprenticeship or qualification in an engineering subject or be able to demonstrate through experience. You will live within the West Midlands area..

You will have a flexible working approach and have a full driving licence.

Full training across the product range is provided and further study support is available for the right candidate.
