Job summary

1st Step is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover West Yorkshire. You will carry out electro-mechanical maintenance and service on pumps, motors, control panels, valves, PLCs, and related equipment. Full training provided, with clear progression paths.

Based around West Yorkshire, there is no on-call or weekend work, and you will work locally with a senior engineer to learn the systems, a lucrative and niche opportunity in industrial wastewater processing.

Qualifications

• Electro-mechanical service and maintenance experience.
• Able to fault find.
• Experience in Water Treatment.
• Experience in Chemical or Process industry also considered.

Responsibilities

• Full training provided.
• Service and maintenance of equipment including control panels, motors, pumps and valves.
• Localised patch around the West Yorkshire area.
• No on call, no weekend work, very rare stay away.

Are you an electro-mechanical service or maintenance engineer looking for a position that can provide full training on industrial systems?

In this role you will work alongside senior engineers to learn the systems. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance to equipment ranging from control panels, motors, pumps and valves.
