Job summary

GPW Recruitment is seeking a C&I Installation Engineer to support energy and power projects across the UK. The role involves installation, wiring and testing of protection and control systems, plus cable installation and termination for copper and fibre.

The candidate will read electrical drawings, perform safety testing, and collaborate with site and commissioning teams. Travel and staying away Monday to Friday are required, and a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a site-based wiring, installation or Site Technician role.
• Background within EC&I environments, substations, protection or control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Willingness to travel and work away Monday to Friday.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
