Job summary

Laboris Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, fault-find and service bespoke pumping and electrical control systems across customer sites. The role is based at head office in Oxfordshire/Berkshire border with regular travel across the South East.

You will perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding on a range of commercial, industrial and residential projects, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable and compliant with

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering or electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience fault-finding electrical systems.
• Experience working with motors or mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Methodical approach to diagnosing faults.
• Good customer-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health & safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a variety of systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults.
• Install, commission and test new pumping systems and electrical controls.
• Fault-find using electrical testing equipment and diagnostic techniques.
• Maintain and repair control panels, float switches, sensors and associated electrical equipment.
• Inspect systems and identify potential failures before they occur.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and job sheets accurately.
• Liaise professionally with customers and provide clear updates on works carried out.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant electrical and health & safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, replacement equipment or additional works.
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver projects and maintenance contracts.
