We are seeking a Field Sales Representative to develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities, aiming for profitable revenue growth within the small to medium customer division. The role involves managing day-to-day and strategic issues within the new business team, with the scope to enhance sales performance through planned and objective management of sales activities. You will play a key role in ensuring Biffa remains competitive regarding service offerings, business model, and operational methods.

Your Core Responsibilities
  • Proactively and reactively sell profitable new business within a territory to meet targets
  • Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual new business targets
  • Manage a sales territory and prospect lists for business opportunities
  • Report calls, leads, quotes, and contracts on the Company Operating System
  • Present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports
  • Coordinate with Depot Manager, Regional General Manager, and Regional Commercial Manager for sales strategies within the region
  • Act as the primary interface between Biffa and target customers
  • Handle sales prospecting and pricing negotiations
