Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is partnering with a science-focused employer to recruit a Field Sales Specialist for Laboratory & Life Sciences. The role covers the UK, with hybrid working and field travel, and offers a 3-month initial contract.

Full-time preferred; part-time considered for the right candidate, with salary to be discussed based on experience. You will develop new business and grow existing accounts in laboratories, diagnostics and life sciences, building relationships

Qualifications

• Previous B2B sales experience within laboratory, diagnostics, scientific equipment, consumables or life sciences.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow customer accounts.
• Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
• Confidence presenting products and solutions to technical and commercial audiences.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across laboratory and life science accounts.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, including Laboratory Managers and Procurement teams.
• Conduct customer meetings, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Manage and develop existing accounts while identifying opportunities for further growth.
• Generate and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
• Keep customer and sales activity up to date within the CRM.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK, focusing on face-to-face relationships.
• Work with internal technical and commercial teams to deliver optimal solutions.
