Job summary

GRS Group in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a proactive External/Field Sales professional to grow and service customers in North Essex and surrounding areas. You will win new work, build strong relationships with haulage and material suppliers, and maximise orders in volume and profit.

The role requires a CAN-DO attitude, the ability to learn from losses, and a commitment to achieving targets in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK Driving License (Essential).
• Must live in or around the North Essex area and be happy to work on the road as well as occasional overnight stays (Essential).
• External Sales / Field Sales Experience (Essential).
• Aggregate Industry Experience (Essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver against your areas budget in line with agreed targets.
• Developing and retaining key relationships with our haulage and material supply chain to give you an advantage in the market.
• Ensure that your customers are consistently receiving an excellent experience across pricing, service and end to end administration.
• Lead from the front in chasing leads to convert new business opportunities.
• To promote the company image and develop good customer/company relationship.
• Maintain a clean business – resolving queries and managing your own business Admin.
