Job summary

Acosta Europe is seeking a Field Sales Executive to represent Pladis across major retailers. You will drive brand visibility, optimise in-store execution, and use insights to boost performance within your territory.

The role is field-based, covering Leicester and Peterborough, with a permanent full-time contract and 37.5 hours per week. Base salary £25,500 plus £3,825 commission (OTE £29,325) and a company car plus fuel card and tech.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths required.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
• Proactive, multi-priority management in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with 360 and MS Office tools.
• Understanding of retail systems and promotional execution processes.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily store visits to deliver core KPIs.
• Create standout in-store displays to drive incremental sales.
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues for space and displays.
• Ensure promotions and product launches are executed flawlessly.
• Capture data and report activities using 360.

Role: Field Sales Executive

Location: Field-based (Territory-based role covering Leicester & Peterborough

Contract: Permanent Full time role - 37.5 hours a week start date from 1st October 2026

Salary: £29,325.00 OTE per annum (Salary made up of £25,500.00 annual base salary Plus £3,825.00 annual commission earning opportunity, paid quarterly based on KPIs) plus Company Car, Fuel Card & Tech Provided

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily store visits in line with your journey plan to deliver core KPIs
• Create standout in-store displays and interventions that drive incremental sales
• Build strong relationships with store colleagues, securing additional space and impactful displays
• Ensure flawless and compliant execution of promotions and product launches
• Capture accurate data and report activities through 360
• Provide valuable feedback on competitor behaviour and market trends
• Use sales insights and alerts to take proactive actions in store

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of sales experience to succeed here. We're looking for attitude, energy, and potential.

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build quick rapport
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence using 360 and Microsoft Office tools
• Understanding of retail systems and promotional execution processes

Desirable Experience

• A degree in a relevant field
• Previous experience in retail, FMCG, or field sales

As a Field Sales Executive you will be

• Confident, self-motivated, and target driven
• Great at building rapport and influencing in-store teams
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable working independently
• Happy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
• IT literate and confident using mobile data capture tools

You'll need:

• A full UK manual driving licence

Previous retail, FMCG, or sales experience is desirable-but not essential. If you're ambitious and eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
