Field Sales Executive - FMCG - Southeast London

Established over 20 years ago, our client is a market-leading manufacturer of a range of FMCG / consumer goods products. They are a global organization with a turnover of £6bn, and are working with a range of national-level accounts alongside independent businesses.

They are looking for a Field Sales Executive to join their team, overseeing a set of existing accounts across Southeast London. This is a crucial role in building long-term relationships with clients and driving success across the region.

This is a field-based role for candidates based in Southeast London.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with a range of clients on a daily basis
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders across the accounts
  • Communicate product availability, support with staff training and product merchandising in-store
  • Adopt a flexible & adaptable approach to each customer account based on type of business & business location
  • Execute a range of business development activities to maximise sales across designated territory
  • Evaluate successes & highlight areas for improvement across territory, utilising data & budget for support
  • Work towards a set of defined targets
The Successful Candidate
  • 12+ months experience in a field sales role is ideal
  • A background in FMCG would be a plus
  • Candidates outside of a sales background would also be considered; Retail Store Managers or Field-Based Merchandisers are encouraged to apply
