Job description

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Consultant to join the SQUID team on a commission-only basis and fuel our growth across Ireland, UK, Europe, and beyond. As a self-starter and problem solver, you’ll generate new B2B sales and manage existing relationships to drive up-sells and renewals. Reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships, you’ll play a key role in our expansion.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our growing sales team at SQUID on a commission-only basis. This role is perfect for someone who wants to be self-employed (commission only - very high earning potential) or a student who is studying, who wants flexible working hours, pocket money for university, and who is eager to join an exciting start-up company. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle in your market. Your job will be to grow the number of businesses who use SQUID in your region. You will play a crucial role in driving sales and growth in the region. You will be paid for every sale you make, as long as certain criteria are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify quality leads within our target market in your area.
  • Qualify leads to determine their potential and readiness to purchase.
  • Conduct outreaches to leads, via email, chat, phone to engage leads and discuss our product.
  • Conduct sales pitch and subsequent follow-up and sign-ups.
  • Ensure the businesses get a certain amount of users after they sign up to SQUID.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and address customer needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Motivation: Self-motivated with a strong desire to surpass targets and grow within the company.
  • Competitive Commission: Earn up to €50,000/year (self-employed).
  • Flexible Working Hours: You work when you want.
  • Experienced Team: Work closely with an experienced team, including our current head of growth, who previously served as Global Director of Support Operations at WhatsApp.
