Retail Field Manager- South - Fragrance and Beauty Division, UK

Location: CHANEL - Field Based Role

Reports to: National Events and Activations Manager, F&B UK

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract - Maternity Cover

Your role @CHANEL:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing the Events and Activations initiatives and strategy set by the National Events and Activations Manager. Within this role, you will proactively drive sales and enhance client experience at CHANEL points of sale, invest in development, and identify further commercial opportunities. This role supports the Sales Development and Retail and Operations Teams in delivering sell-out plans and elevating Client Experience, collaborating across all departments in CHANEL Fragrance and Beauty.

This role is vital in inspiring individuals and ensuring the highest level of client service and experience across CHANEL points of sale. It involves striving for excellence and delivering results within a motivated team to develop the business in fragrance and beauty.

  1. Plan and drive excellence in events and activations, thinking creatively and innovatively within the framework set by CHANEL.
  2. Ensure all activations align with the overall sales development plan.
  3. Support educational moments to develop the point-of-sale community and field specialists' capabilities (skincare, fragrance, makeup).
  4. Collaborate with Field Retail Development Managers to develop skills and confidence in delivering service and executing events.
  5. Monitor ROI of activities to select mechanisms that drive sales and brand awareness, devising deficit plans with the retail team.
  6. Identify opportunities to sell stocks and drive sales proactively.
  7. Leverage product knowledge and service expertise to identify new business opportunities.
  8. Support the Sales Development Team with in-store activation materials and strategies.
  9. Champion and evaluate the commercial viability of service offerings, enhancing client engagement and relationships.
