Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking a skilled Multi-skilled Operative to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance across trades in void properties in Yorkshire and Humber. This field-based role offers a full-time, permanent contract with a salary up to £37,686.25 per annum, plus a company van and fuel card.

You’ll work 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, across residential projects. Candidates should have experience in Plumbing, Joinery, Plastering or Tiling and be comfortable

Qualifications

Experience in a core trade (Plumbing, Joinery, Plastering or Tiling).
Experience in multiple trades and delivering high-quality repairs.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in residents' homes.

Responsibilities

Identify void works and carry out repairs where needed.
Perform plumbing tasks including replacing fittings and fixtures.
Fit doors, work tops and kitchen units; repair internal fixtures.
Carry out plastering, tiling, painting and decorating to a high standard.
Record job details and materials used using handheld devices.
