Job summary

Stannah in Bristol is seeking a Field Repair Manager to join our service branch management team. You will lead a team of Lift Engineers and subcontractors to deliver against the Major Repairs Plan while upholding our service standards.

You will be based at Bristol Service Branch with regular travel across the region, and a full UK driving licence is essential. In return, a competitive salary, benefits package, and a company car or car allowance are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in lift industry or similar service industry is essential.
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
• Proven management experience overseeing engineers and subcontractors.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan engineer workloads and allocate repair works.
• Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and carry out risk assessments.
• Conduct regular site monitoring and maintain customer relationships.
• Lead a team of Lift Engineers and subcontractors to meet Major Repairs Plan goals.
• Travel across the Service Branch region; hold a full UK driving licence.

We're now looking for a Field Repair Manager to join our Bristol Service branch management team - someone ready to drive operational performance, inspire a skilled workforce, and help us exceed our business goals.

In this role, you'll lead a team of talented Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to deliver against our Major Repairs Plan objectives. Your remit will span across all makes and models of Lifts

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 0800-1645 and Friday 0800-1545

Field Repair Manager Responsibilities:

• Efficiently plan engineer workloads including the allocation of repair works.
• Manage absence, performance, and appraisals for the team.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures. Conduct risk assessments and method statements
• Carry out regular site monitoring
• Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints
• Previous experience working within the lift industry or similar service industry with transferable skills is essential
• Relevant management qualifications would be desirable
• Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering
