Job summary

Atlas UAV Ltd in Swindon, UK, is seeking a hands-on RAS operations and support specialist to deploy, integrate, train users, and maintain fielded UAV systems in customer environments, complying with PDRA, CAA, and MAA guidelines.

You will manage end-to-end deployments, lead safety and flight discipline, perform minor repairs, manage inventories, and coordinate with Ofcom for spectrum and regulatory matters, while delivering expert pre-sales demonstrations.

Qualifications

• GVC, A2 CofC, L1 RPC or military equivalent qualification is required.
• Training instructor qualification (military or civilian) is preferred.
• Experience with end-user operating environments and team-based delivery.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Eligible for SC clearance; evidence of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver customer deployments, trials and end-user training.
• Maintain flight records and support CAA/MAA regulatory submissions.
• Drive safety culture, flight discipline, and equipment care.
• Lead battery management, software integration and fault investigation.
• Own inventory, serial-number tracking and logistics support.
• Coordinate spectrum management and Ofcom applications; support pre-sales demonstrations.
