Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Pump Engineer (Maintenance / Water Infrastructure) based in Glasgow to service a variety of pumping systems across commercial, industrial and domestic sites. You will install, maintain and fault-find equipment on customer sites and work closely with clients to diagnose issues and deliver reliable pumping solutions.

The ideal candidate has a solid electrical/mechanical engineering background, experience with pumping systems, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering background.
• Experience working on pumping systems in varied environments.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain a range of pumping equipment.
• On-site diagnostics and fault-finding for client sites.
• Carry out system testing and commissioning of new installations.
• Perform inspections to ensure equipment is fully operational.
• Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
