Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Pump Engineer (Maintenance / Facilities) to join a diverse, field-based role across commercial, industrial and domestic pumping systems in Edinburgh and wider Scotland. You'll install, service and fault-find on pumping equipment, working directly with customers on site and delivering practical solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong electrical or mechanical engineering background with pumping systems experience, holds a City & Guilds in

Qualifications

• Strong electrical/mechanical engineering background with pumping systems experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing and maintaining pumping equipment.
• Carrying out reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Testing and commissioning of pumping systems.
• Completing inspections to ensure operational readiness.
• Taking part in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
