Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Pump Engineer for Aberdeen, Scotland, to install, service and maintain a wide range of pumping equipment across commercial, industrial and domestic settings.

You will work on-site with clients, diagnose faults, complete installations, and provide technical support. A strong electrical/mechanical background and a full UK driving licence are essential to succeed in this varied field-based role.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical/mechanical engineering background.
• Experience working on pumping systems.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain a range of pumping equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault finding.
• Work on booster sets, pressurisation units, sump sets and drainage systems.
• Carry out system testing and commissioning.
• Complete inspections to ensure equipment is fully operational.
• Take part in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
