Job summary

Tended is seeking an energetic Project Manager to lead end-to-end client implementations and rollouts across the UK, driving delivery pace and coordinating cross-functional teams in live operational environments. You will manage on-site deployments at depots and hubs, deliver tailored training for frontline users, and produce clear reports showing project progress, ROI, and key insights to stakeholders.

The role requires proven PM experience in complex technical projects, startup/scale-up

Proven PM experience delivering complex technical projects or deployments end-to-end.
High ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to create structure in fast-paced environments.
Strong leadership and communication to align engineers, senior stakeholders, and frontline operations.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Governance: Build and maintain detailed project plans, critical path timelines, and resource schedules using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Risk & Scope Management: Track risks, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and maintain scope control across parallel client deployments.
On-the-Ground Rollouts: Lead live deployments on client sites (depots/hubs) with occasional weekend/overnight shifts.
Training & User Adoption: Develop and deliver training for diverse end-user cohorts to ensure capability and retention.
Proactive Problem Solving: Own project issues and drive pragmatic solutions to keep projects moving.
Client Reporting & Value Insights: Produce clear reports showing progress, ROI, and insights for stakeholders.
