Job summary

Mayfair Compliance Group is seeking a Pest Control Technician to service domestic and commercial customers across the West Midlands. This field-based role suits someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently and helping customers protect their properties.

You will inspect premises, develop and carry out treatment plans, apply pesticides safely and explain findings to customers. You will keep accurate visit records and follow safety procedures, with the option of progression through

Qualifications

• Experience in a pest control role.
• RSPH/BPCA Level 2 Award in Pest Management, or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
• Confidence dealing with customers in homes and workplaces.
• Good attention to detail, time management and written communication skills.
• A sound understanding of safe working practices and pesticide use.
• Able to pass an enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Visit customer premises to inspect for pests, identify the extent of activity and find likely access points or contributing conditions.
• Develop and carry out suitable treatment plans, including follow-up visits where needed.
• Use pesticides, traps and other control methods safely, in accordance with product instructions, company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Explain findings, treatments and prevention measures to customers in straightforward terms.
• Complete service reports, treatment records and risk assessments accurately and on time.
• Maintain your equipment, stock and vehicle to the required standard.
• Manage your daily schedule and respond professionally to customer queries.
