Job summary

Mayfair Compliance Group is seeking a Pest Control Technician to serve domestic and commercial customers across the west midlands. This field-based role involves solving problems, working independently and helping customers protect their properties.

You will investigate pest activity, choose control measures, carry out treatments and provide prevention advice. You'll keep records of visits, follow safety procedures and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pest control role is essential.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Qualified with RSPH/BPCA Level 2 Award in Pest Management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect sites for pests and identify activity and access points.
• Develop and execute treatment plans; perform follow-ups as needed.
• Use pesticides and traps safely in line with laws and company procedures.
• Explain findings and prevention measures clearly to customers.
• Complete service reports and risk assessments on time.

Job Overview

Mayfair Compliance Group is looking for a Pest Control Technician to serve domestic and commercial customers across the west midlands. You'll investigate pest activity, choose appropriate control measures, carry out treatments and give customers clear advice on preventing future issues. You'll also keep accurate records of each visit and follow all relevant safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer premises to inspect for pests, identify the extent of activity and find likely access points or contributing conditions.
• Develop and carry out suitable treatment plans, including follow-up visits where needed.
• Use pesticides, traps and other control methods safely, in accordance with product instructions, company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Explain findings, treatments and prevention measures to customers in straightforward terms.
• Complete service reports, treatment records and risk assessments accurately and on time.
• Maintain your equipment, stock and vehicle to the required standard.
• Manage your daily schedule and respond professionally to customer queries.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a pest control role.
• An RSPH/BPCA Level 2 Award in Pest Management, or an equivalent qualification.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Confidence dealing with customers in homes and workplaces.
• Good attention to detail, time management and written communication skills.
• A sound understanding of safe working practices and pesticide use.
• Able to pass a enhanced DBS check.
