Job summary

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking Field Operatives (IPAF Cert) in Cheltenham for UK-wide travel to install and maintain product protection kit. The role requires IPAF certification and the ability to work at heights on large projects.

Compensation ranges from £35,000 to £40,000 per year with training, progression and a stable career path. A company van is provided, with expenses and meals paid where applicable.

Qualifications

• IPAF Certification required (out-of-date ok; refresher will be provided)
• Ability to work at heights
• Physically fit; labour-intensive role
• Must have full UK clean driving license
• CSCS green or blue card beneficial, not essential
• HNC or similar in an engineering field advantageous

Responsibilities

• Install tarps, stitching, shrink wrapping of assets
• Work at extreme heights on projects
• Inspect and maintain stored assets

Field Operative (IPAF Cert)

Cheltenham (Field work)

We are looking for multiple operatives with IPAF certification to join our client’s business on a permanent basis. The client is a successful asset protection company that deliver anti corrosion works to oil & gas, aerospace, engineering and nuclear sectors.

You will join a team of operatives that travel the UK installing and maintaining product protection kit including shrink wrap, transport cover and specialist tarpaulins.

Most installs include using platforms cherry pickers and spider lifts to installs on big projects so you will ned to be good with heights and have relevant IPAF certificates to support.

The Role:

• Travel UK wide from base at Cheltenham each day
• Installs of tarps, stitching, shrink wrapping assets
• Working at extreme heights
• Inspection and maintenance activities on stored assets

The Person

• IPAF Certification (out of date ok, as will support with refresher)
• Ability to work at heights
• Fit, strong, work is very labour intensive
• Must have full UK clean license
• CSCS green or blue card beneficial not essential
• HNC or similar in an engineering field – advantageous

Hours of work – not set

5/6AM leave from Cheltenham base – depending on day back at base in Cheltenham 5/6pm
