Job summary

Workforce Staffing seeks Field Operatives with IPAF certification to join our client’s growing team in Cheltenham. The role covers UK-wide field work installing and maintaining protection kit including shrink wrap, transport covers and tarpaulins.

You will work at heights using platforms, cherry pickers and spider lifts on large projects. The position offers a stable career with training, progression and industry-recognised development.

Qualifications

• IPAF Certification (out of date ok, as support with refresher).
• Ability to work at heights.
• Fit and strong; labour-intensive role.
• Must have full UK clean licence.
• CSCS green/blue card beneficial but not essential.
• HNC or similar in engineering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Travel UK-wide from base at Cheltenham each day.
• Installs of tarps, stitching, shrink wrapping assets.
• Working at extreme heights on projects.
• Inspection and maintenance activities on stored assets.

Cheltenham (Field work)

We are looking for multiple operatives with IPAF certification to join our client's business on a permanent basis. The client is a successful asset protection company that deliver anti corrosion works to oil & gas, aerospace, engineering and nuclear sectors.

You will join a team of operatives that travel the UK installing and maintaining product protection kit including shrink wrap, transport cover and specialist tarpaulins.

Most installs include using platforms cherry pickers and spider lifts to installs on big projects so you will ned to be good with heights and have relevant IPAF certificates to support.
