Field Operations Technician – Water PPMLocation: Field-based (across 4 contracts) with access to nearest office for admin tasks - Peabody, EalingSalary: £45,000 per annumFull Time | PermanentThe RoleWe’re seeking a proactive and skilled Field Operations Technician to support a team delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within the water hygiene sector. This is a field-based role, covering four key contracts, with flexibility to use the nearest office for completing any paperwork or admin tasks.You’ll manage the day-to-day delivery of PPM tasks such as sampling and dosing closed heating systems, while also supporting wider water hygiene duties like tank inspections, cleans, and temperature monitoring. A key part of your role will be ensuring full compliance, maintaining high standards, and supporting the development of your team.Key Responsibilities * Oversee operatives and subcontractors carrying out PPM on closed heating systems * Monitor performance to meet client KPIs and maintain 100% compliance * Assist with other water hygiene tasks (e.g.
cold water storage tank inspections and cleaning) * Liaise with commercial teams to plan and resource work efficiently * Identify training needs and ensure team competency * Produce accurate reports and documentation * Promote best practice in health and safety at all timesWhat You’ll Bring * Experience managing teams in water hygiene, plumbing, or building services * Sound knowledge of ACOP L8, HSG274, and BS8552 * Strong planning and communication skills * Ability to work independently in the field and take initiative * Full UK driving licence (essential)Desirable Qualifications: * ACOP L8, HSG274 & BS8552 (Essential) * Legionella Awareness (Desirable) * IOSH Working Safely / Manual Handling / First Aid (Desirable) * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Desirable)What’s in It for You: * £45,000 salary * Autonomy to manage your schedule and local admin * Involvement in a growing area of water hygiene services * Supportive leadership and development opportunitiesIf this sounds like an opportunity for you, Apply Now.
