A leading professional body in the UK is seeking a Field Officer to support school and college leaders in the London region. This home-based role requires recent senior leadership experience and involves casework, member engagement, and travel. Homebased in the London region. Part-time, 0.6 FTE minimum (equivalent to 3 days per week).
Starting salary: £64,601 FTE.
The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL) is a leading professional body representing over 25,000 school and college leaders across the UK. We are seeking a Field Officer to join our London regional team.
ASCL is looking to appoint a Field Officer to undertake casework supporting our members within the London region, working alongside the regional officer.
The role requires current knowledge and experience of issues facing senior leadership teams in schools and colleges, and the ability to engage with individuals at a senior level. Applicants should have held a senior leadership position within schools or colleges within the last two years. Business leaders with extensive HR experience or leaders at or above Deputy Headteacher level or equivalent are highly suitable.
The successful candidate must reside in the region they serve. The role is home-based but involves frequent travel within the region to meet members, attend meetings, and engage with employers. Regular visits to ASCL HQ in Leicester and training sessions are also part of the role. IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
