Job summary

CV Technical Limited seeks a Mobile Plant Engineer to support maintenance across the UK. This field-based role offers a base salary of £34,000 with overtime loading in an OTE range of £42,000–£55,000 and a typical 39-hour week.

You will service, repair and maintain mobile plant including dumpers, rollers, diggers, excavators and telehandlers, with opportunities to develop welding and mechanical skills on varied equipment.

Qualifications

• Practical ability and hands-on experience prioritized over formal qualifications.
• Time-served engineering background preferred but not mandatory.
• Candidates from various engineering backgrounds encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on mobile plant machinery.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend customer sites across the UK as a field engineer.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records and ensure safe, professional work.
