Job summary

Poundland & Dealz is seeking a Remodel & Merchandising Coordinator to support our Property Services team across UK/Ireland. You will lead merchandising, POS moves, and equipment relocations for store developments, including new openings and refits.

The role involves field work, coordinating internal and agency resources, and ensuring projects run safely and on schedule. The position requires travel across the UK and Ireland, with Midlands/South focus, and periods away from home; mixed day and

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Retail merchandising knowledge including planograms and space planning.
• Experience supporting store openings, refits or relocations is preferred.
• Experience of warehouse or stock management operations.
• Commercial awareness relevant to store development projects.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decisive under pressure.
• Full and clean driving licence held.
• In date Passport or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate store development projects with retail colleagues and agency teams.
• Set up delivery schedules for new stores and update Product Control on deliveries.
• Ensure visual merchandisings planograms are followed and space plans used.
• Apply correct pricing and POS equipment and processes.
• Coordinate equipment moves with shelving contractors and report snags.
• Complete daily paperwork; check and account for all equipment.
• Manage project stock requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure all activity adheres to Health & Safety policies and assess risks.
• Resolve issues and escalate hazards as needed.
• Support Midlands Re-Use Centre with equipment sorting and provisioning.
