Job Description:

The Field Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through targeted, on-the-ground marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and executing localized marketing campaigns that align with the company's overall strategy and by working closely with sales teams, channel partners, and other cross-functional departments, the field Marketing Specialist ensures that marketing efforts are directly tailored to specific regional needs and market dynamics.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute regional events, trade shows, conferences, product demonstrations, and customer engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with event coordinators and vendors to ensure all aspects of events run smoothly, from logistics to attendee engagement.
  • Manage on-site activation, including coordinating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and maximum impact.

Local Campaign Management

  • Develop and implement region-specific marketing campaigns that align with overall corporate strategy and objectives.
  • Create and distribute localized marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, emails, and digital content.
  • With the digital marketing team, drive lead generation activities through localized digital and print advertising and social media campaigns.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand local market needs and create tailored marketing materials and campaigns that support sales goals.
  • Provide sales teams with necessary tools, insights, and training to ensure successful lead conversion and customer engagement.
  • Assist with account-based marketing initiatives to target high-value prospects in the region.

Content Development

  • Create localized content (e.g., blog posts, social media updates, press releases) to engage regional audiences.
  • Collaborate with the regional partners to create relevant, targeted join partner marketing activations.

Budget Management & Reporting

  • Manage and track the budget for field marketing activities, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports on key metrics, including lead generation, pipeline creation, ROI, and sales support.
  • Adaptability: Ability to quickly adjust marketing strategies based on local market needs and feedback.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinking to develop engaging, impactful campaigns.

  • ROI on Events: Demonstrated positive ROI from events, based on lead conversion rates, post-event follow-ups, and sales generated within a set period after the event.
  • Campaign Execution: Timely and efficient execution of localized marketing campaigns that adhere to deadlines, budgets, and strategic objectives.
  • Campaign Performance: Positive results from local campaigns, including engagement rates (clicks, opens, shares), lead generation, and, ultimately, sales conversions or pipeline growth.
  • Adherence to Budget: Successfully manage the field marketing budget, ensuring that all activities are executed within allocated resources.
  • Cost Efficiency: Optimize the use of marketing spend, demonstrating cost-effective execution of campaigns and events, leading to improved ROI.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration, with regular feedback from Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and Sales teams validating the value of activities in meeting shared goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in field marketing, event management, or a related marketing discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, product, and corporate marketing teams
