Job description

Who we are?

Silverfin is a cloud-first solution that enables accountants to streamline significant parts of their workload and spend more time on value-adding activities.

Silverfin solves a very real problem: it automates a large chunk of the repetitive tasks that people working in financial services spend their time on and improves communication with their customers.

Recognised as an industry leader, we have received many accolades, including winning Deloitte Belgium’s Technology Fast 50 award in 2021 for most sustainable growth—an award given to the company with the best percentage growth over the last four years.

Our headquarters is in Ghent, Belgium, from where we have successfully launched activities in BeNeLux and the UK. We serve a growing customer base, including the Big 4, across 15 countries with 180+ colleagues. Since November 2023, we are proudly part of Visma, the European leader in mission-critical cloud software, enjoying the power of the Visma brand and resources while retaining business autonomy and go-to-market freedom.

Your role

We’re looking for a hard-working and ambitious Field Marketing Executive to support our UK and Ireland marketing & event activities.

UK and Ireland are key growth markets. You will organize digital and in-person events for prospects and customers, including trade shows like Digital Accountancy Show and Accountex, as well as smaller roundtables and webinars via Zoom Events.

Your responsibilities include organizing events with project boards on Monday.com, managing messaging, creatives, stakeholders, and budgets, alongside regular marketing campaigns targeting accounting practices in the region.

The work location is our Silverfin London office near Old Street Tube Station, with occasional coordination of events outside the office during office hours.

You will be part of a team of 6 UK marketing members and 5 in Benelux, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager for UKI and International Business. Your main focus region is UKI.

Silverfin operates at a fast pace, with continuous activities for users and prospects. We prioritize employee well-being, offering various initiatives. Join our international marketing team and grow with Silverfin.

Your responsibilities
  • Coordinate events from start to finish, including planning, logistics, and execution.
  • Focus on UKI-specific marketing activities, including owned and sponsored third-party events, often involving preparation and coordination rather than physical presence.
  • Manage trade shows and roadshows with lead times of up to 6 months, while handling other campaigns concurrently.
  • Manage event budgets, review agreements with vendors, and coordinate with legal teams.
  • Work under pressure to meet fixed event dates.
  • Utilize playbooks, checklists, budget files, and project management tools like Monday.com for planning and reporting.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and project management standards.
  • Manage copy and messaging tailored to target audiences across channels like email, LinkedIn, and paid media.
  • Review and edit copy produced by team members and third-party agencies.
  • Deliver creative work aligned with our brand guidelines and support campaign execution.
  • Manage the UKI marketing budget and expenses.
  • Create content for campaigns, including landing pages, emails, blogs, social media posts, and web pages.
  • Organize logistics for webinars, roundtables, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Monitor social media activity and engage with followers.
  • Maintain campaign reports and activity calendars, tracking pipeline, effectiveness, and website performance.
  • Coordinate data requirements and execute ABM campaigns with internal teams.
  • Plan and execute end-to-end integrated campaigns, including strategy and asset creation.
  • Brief and debrief campaigns with sales, customer success, and product teams.
  • Analyze campaign performance and report results.
  • Manage external agencies for content production, event logistics, translation, and paid media.
  • Set up landing pages, forms, and workflows in HubSpot.
  • Use Salesforce dashboards and reports to monitor engagement and pipeline.
  • Collaborate regularly with sales, product, and customer success teams for stakeholder buy-in.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing.
  • Proven B2B marketing experience (1-3 years).
Attitude and Personality Traits
  • Self-starter with initiative.
  • Hands-on, proactive attitude.
  • Results-driven and motivated.
  • Strong execution and organizational skills.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Event planning and coordination.
  • Copywriting and messaging.
  • Budget management.
  • Campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills (KANBAN, deadlines, quality).
  • Fluent in English.
Big Plus:
  • Knowledge of French, Spanish, or German.
  • Experience with Salesforce campaign management and dashboards.
  • Proficiency with HubSpot tools.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Live.
